About "n.p.m."

n.p.m.” is a magazine dedicated to trekkers and mountaineers, regardless of their gender, education or material status. Whether planning their first trekking in Polish Tatra Mountains, Beskid Mountains or Karkonosze, ascent of Mont Blanc, or even first climb in the Himalayas, all our readers have one thing in common – they love mountains!

In our magazine we bring you inspiring articles describing expeditions into highest mountains of Earth (written by proffesional climbers) and also articles describing less known parts of Polish and European mountains. There are also interviews with people who've sacrificed everything for mountains. Moreover we help to improve our readers their mountain knowledge and skills and make them aware of what brands and products they should be considering when buying equipment for their trekkings.

n.p.m.” was launched in April 2001, but it appeared in news stands and press salons already in March 2001. First editor-in- chief was famous polish climber Piotr Pustelnik. In August 2007 he was replaced by Tomasz Cylka – a journalist who truly love mountains. Joined by a dozen people from Poznan, Wroclaw, Krakow and Silesia who spend every free moment trekking in the mountains, each month they prepare for you an issue full of inspiring trip reports and route ideas.

What our readers have in common is their passion for mountains, regardless of gender or education level. Main target group is 25-45 years old, 55% of males, with secondary or higher education - 54%. They mainly live in towns and big citie and take part in sport activities at different levels of advancement.


"n.p.m." was issued for the first time in 2001. Since then the circulation has doubled to reach the number of 14 700 copies a month. On average monthly level of sale in 2015 was 9000 copies per month (source: ZKDP).
